What makes you a good caregiver?
I am passionate and dedicated to caring for the elderly, have knowledge and experience in a variety of medical settings working with the elderly and disabled, over the years has brought forth my ability to thoroughly and accurately assist patients. I am eager to gain more experience and expand as a caregiver.
Your best day at work you’ve ever had and what made it so good.
While I was working with disabled children, I could see the impact I had on their lives, every morning when I came into work, the joy and excitement they had when they saw me. Even when I moved to another ward each time I passed by, they would be so happy to see me.
In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver?
I am a qualified "Health Care Assistant" from the class of 2019. The one-year course entailed theory as well as practical experience in a private hospital and an old age home. I have experience with Dementia Care, Physically Disabled Care, Mentally Disabled Care, Disabled Care for Children, Catheter Care, Pressure Care, and Peg Feed.
What makes you most excited about# working with seniors?
Being the person they can depend on their day-to-day living.
What’s the most interesting thing about# you that we don’t know from your resume?
I see myself as an outgoing, spontaneous and bubbly person. In my free time, I like going to the gym or being around friends and family.
