Sr Wendy

I was born in Pietermaritzburg in 1987 and currently reside in Pietermaritzburg.

I speak the following languages: English and a bit of Zulu.

My nursing career spans over 16 years. I graduated from KwaZulu Natal College of Nursing as a Registered Nurse and Midwife. I’ve gained experience working at various hospitals during my training.

I am currently a Registered Nurse who specializes in General, Psychiatry and Community work, at Greys Hospital.

In my free time I try my best to keep fit and go to the gym.

I am a Registered Nurse. I graduated as an Enrolled Nurse at Northdale Hospital in 1980 and started nursing at Town Hill Hospital in 2003. I qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2006 and furthered my studies and graduated with a Diploma in Psychiatry in 2008.

I have worked for various hospitals doing general nursing and psychiatric nursing over the course of 41 years. I have a certificate in Vaccinating as I was a vaccinator in Chatsworth during the Covid outbreak. I have also just recently graduated from a counselling and leadership course.

I am currently on the executive board of Rainbow Haven Old Age home and like to partake in voluntary work. The longest volunteer work I am involved in is arranging feeding schemes for rural developments in Pietermaritzburg.

In my spare time I like gardening, reading and spending time with family and friends.
